Wallabies are marsupial animals. This means that they have their babies in a pouch. They look like kangaroos but they are not!
Wallabies range in size from twenty-two inches for the smallest in size to six feet for the largest in size. They are found in various habitats including rain forests, open plains, and stony hills. Wallabies live in Australia, New Guinea, and surrounding islands. Augee, Michael L. "Wallaby." World Book Student. World Book, 2016. Web. 31 Aug. 2016. |
